Integrity games

Our game was called kiwi hunt.
The kids were good at listening but not good at playing our games. but we had a brilliant time. I like teaching little kids about games that we make up.

Instructions:
1.Ten Balls are hidden by the referees. (the older kids)

2. Once the year 1 and 2 kids find a ball they yell out ‘Got it’ and one of the older kids gives the kids a hockey stick.

3. Once they get the hockey stick they try to get the ball to one of the hula hoops.

Variations: make the game harder and harder every game but not to hard for the kids by hiding them in different places.

  1. Shantelle, the Rata Team children really enjoyed your game. It was great to see young children learning how to use the hockey sticks correctly, and I really liked that you thought about using the native bush pathways to make the game even more exciting. Your group worked well together and you were able to 'fine tune' your instructions for your second group. Well done.
